I call Fary Raifiei at the George K. Salon my Hair Goddess. She makes my hair look better, healthier and more beautiful than anyone I've ever gone to. Fary has a nice way of working with me when my hair style needs updating, my color is off (usually this means I've been doing it at home out of the box) or when I've stopped caring anymore because I work too much. Fary will also take care of my eyebrows and showed how to work with some new make-up and lipcolor. If you do one thing for yourself this year, give Fary a try. This is not a fancy salon but don't let that stop you from trying this friendly place. All of the hair dressers that work here are dedicated, hardworking and have many years doing hair color, cuts, etc. My hair dresser Fary Raifiei moved to this salon a number of years ago and it is actually more convenient for me than her old location. I have been going to Fary for hair cuts, color and eye brown color for around 8 years now. I have sent my friend Hilary who was transformed by Fary's expertise at picking color as well as a terrific, easy to maintain cut. Hilary has been hooked for about 4 years now. Then I sent my mother's friend Ann who is also hooked on the beautiful cut that she receives from Fary. Ann's been going back for about 2-3 years now. You can't go wrong with any of the hair dressers at this salon. You will receive a wonderful cut & color that won't be what you pay at the most high-end shops. I recently went here only because I saw a sign out front that said Tanning was 2 weeks for 19.99 I decided to just try it out considering it was only 19.99 I actually was very very pleased! I told my sister and her friend and my mom about it too! The man that helped me was also the owner! He was EXTREMELY nice! He was coloring a gal's hair when I went in and she just kept ranting and raving about how nice he was and what a great job he did! The tanning beds were nice.. although they do need lights in the rooms.. Thats no reason for me to not go! Ha The beds were high quality and the price was perfect! I will definately go back! George used to have a Yoga practice called Event Yoga.\r \r After it was discontinued he promised a refund for students that paid in advanced for classes. It has been over three month since and I have yet to see the money.\r I have spoken with George directly, with his staff and left many messages and I have yet to get any positive response.\r more
