Dr Kirkland has taken great care of me, my friends, and my family. He exhibits a gifted approach to his profession. He listens to the patient's concerns, makes good informed decisions, and exercises a tremendous amount of concern in taking care of his patients. He has also surrounded himself with a very professional and efficient staff. They truly handle their jobs as serious tasks and treat everyone in a professional manner. Went in for toothache, wound up emergency root canal. I had very little to no pain with any of it! They took very good care of me. I would recommend. more

Zero stars from me but I had to put something. I took my 10 yr old for a tooth extraction and he was horrible. He did not numb her in the correct spot and did not believe her when she told him she could feel it. He tried to pull her tooth without it being numb...I had to MAKE him stop!!! I was horrified with this experience and my daughter now will never forget this experience! We had to go to another dentist since he threw his arms up in the air and said he was done for the day...ummm ???...she saw us immediately and said the tooth was no where near ready to be pulled.She could not believe what he put her through for just a baby tooth extraction. I would hate to see him do something serious. AS A MOTHER...DO YOURSELF AND YOUR CHILD A FAVOR...DO NOT USE HIM. more

Dr. Kirkland was careless with my x-rays and other documentation such that procedures covered by my insurance were denied due to "lack of evidence of tooth loss". When I talked to Dr Kirkland, he flat out lied to me about it. I hate going to the dentist and I am the biggest baby one could ever find. I have gone to this dentist and have gotten work corrected from another dentist along with getting a few teeth pulled. I have never felt any pain. Even afterward the pain is minimal. They know how to take care of a patient. more

I have been trying to get my husband to a dentist ever since we first started dating, but due to a bad experience years and years ago he refused to go. Recently, though, he had some trouble and we started going to Gentle Dental on West Rd. The only reason we chose it was because it was "in the network" but I am SO glad we did! I went first for a standard cleaning and reassured my husband that they knew what they were doing. The hygenist (Nancy) had a great personality and kept hubby cheered while they had to do extensive gum work. For my run-of-the-mill cleaning and his out-of-the-ordinary excavations we had equally satisfying and comfortable visits. I would recommend to anyone. more
