Gentle Care Animal Hospital at Tryon

When I lived in the Cary area, I took all of my pets to Gentle Care. We loved the vets there and I felt like they took good care of my pets. I had one pet become severely ill and my vet was very sweet and sympathetic as we dealt with the illness. I always felt like their prices may be high, and when I moved to another vet I was very surprised at how much less I paid at the new office, for service that is just as personal and caring. So even though I recommend Gentle Care (we especially loved Dr. Bowden), I don't think it's the best value out there. more

We love Gentle Care and all of the vets and staff!!! \r \r Our Dobermans have been clients of Gentle Care for at least 7 years, as we have dealt with issues that have run the gamut from routine annual physicals to life-threatening spinal injuries, heart-worm infection in a newly adopted dog, staph infection, MRSA infection, bloat, and general geriatric issues. \r \r It is evident that they keep up with current veterinary developments as well as network and consult with other vets and veterinary specialists, and as well that they have an empathetic compassion for the pets they treat, and a willingness to partner with the owner in the pets' care to the extent the owner wants. \r \r We are always educated on what the vet sees and does throughout the exam, and we are part of the dialogue as a diagnosis is being made (e.g., what we have noticed at home that may not be showing up in the exam).
