Genteel Reflections Gifts & Decor

Was just now searching for the Genteel Reflections website, read the comment of an astonished lady who wrote, "I could not believe that Yukon, OK finally had a store of this caliber"; and me thinks, "Well, I-EEEEE sure can!" As a long-time Yukon resident who has watched the population of this Oklahoma City bedroom community increase from about 1500 in 1959 to now over 22,000 (as of the 2010 census), Yukon has also steadily grown in all manner of quality neighborhoods, schools, businesses, opportunities, festivals and other educational and fun events. Not long after Genteel Reflections opened I visited and LOVED their 'classy' atmosphere and product lines and continue to be deLIGHTED (even if not at all surprised) that this indeed-high-caliber shop continues to flourish in this wonderful 'town'. To that nice lady's comment I say... don'tcha know... we're playin' with the BIG kids now! more

This store is awesome! It is my favorite place to find unique gifts. I stop in every chance I get just to see what is new. You name it...they have it. My baby shower gifts from there are the hit of every shower I attend. It is to the point that the expectant mothers at church love to see me coming through the door with one of their distinctive gift bags. LOL They have beautiful baby blankets and clothing. I am always greeted when I enter and offered a chocolate or other sample. The chocolates are luscious! My last purchase was a crystal barware set for an out-of-state wedding gift. While talking with the owner I mentioned that we weren't going to be able to attend the wedding because it was in Florida. He told me they could pack and ship it for me if I would just get him the address. It was so nice not to have to make another stop to mail the package. It is a refreshing change from the "super store" "serve yourself" mentality. They also support our Yukon pom and cheer squads with donated Vera Bradley duffels. It's a nice, locally owned store that gives back to the community. more

I drove by every morning on my way to work and finally stopped by one evening. I could not beleive that Yukon, OK finally had a store of this caliber. Lets start by saying the store is beautiful and much bigger than I thought. They have everything, Home Decor, Candles, Great Baby Gifts, Skin Care, and a the most exquisite hand cut crystal I have scene. Its also from the Czech Republic which is great considering Yukon is a major Czech community. I left the store with a huge bag of goodies and they wrapped everything up in a beautiful frosted bag ready for gift giving; unfortunely for my husband everything I bought was for me. (spent to much) However, I did get him some mens skin products by a company call Jack Black, he loved the beard lube and I loved the all overwash it makes him smell great. I would recommend this store to everyone, my sister in CA bought from there website and she said there was a hand written thankyou and samples included in her order. She said the Lady Primrose samples are excellent. Check It Out - Great store and Great People more
