Genesis Salon & Medical Spa

I am an African American women and received a massage at Genesis from a young girl named Shauna... she was obviously new and stated she was just out of school. I had no idea a "quality" salon would hire soemone with NO experience. This girl was extremely racist and made numerous racial slurs while I was on the table. I was and am still speachless. Be aware when going to Genesis to receive a high priced massage and beware of a girl name Shauna! more

My experience at Genesis was ok...well, it wasn't what I expected, especially based on the price. The treatment I got was pretty common but not exceptional as you may think you would get from the rave reviews higher-end society may give. I would rather go to a less expensive place because honestly, I have seen better work done for less than half of what they charge. That may sound a bit harsh but I thought I would warn you. more

I was had last visited Genesis' Spa about 3 years ago when I was pregnant with my daughter. I receieved a spa pedicure and was very happy with the results. They are significantly more expensive than other places where I could get a similar service, but I found the atmosphere to be worth the extra money. I am slightly disappointed after a more recent visit to find out that the prices have gone up still more, and the service is not near what it used to be. I felt rushed during my pedicure, that was a very relaxing time, when I experienced it three years ago. For the price, I really don't think that Genesis is worth it. If you have extra money to blow, it's nice enough. But for someone on a budget, save the extra money and go to a less expensive salon. more
