First month I was pregnant I went to see Dr. Banias. He was my obgyn for my first pregnancy with Dr. Clark and everything went fine. This second time, my insurance was turned off and I didn't know. I had to pay for my first visit. I had a payment plan set up and their billing department was supposed to send me a bill. Me and my pregnant brain wasn't about to remember their bill on top of all the other bills my husband and I pay. They never sent a bill at all. A month left before I give birth, they discontinued my prenatal care because of failure to pay. When I tried to call and find out what exactly was going on, they sent me to voicemail and never called back. It was impossible to find new high risk prenatal care being 34 weeks into my pregnancy. A quack with new high-tech equipment that cannot say when he doesn't know something. He missed diagnosing severe endometriosis in an effort to make more money off of me by suggesting I go ahead with expensive procedures in an effort to get preganant (impossible without treating the underlying causes). In the meantime, there's no telling how much damage was caused by this, but the on-going pain and suffering is tremendous.
