Best Japanese in town 4/16/2006

We don't have too many options in town, but Gen-Nai is one of the best we have. No, it doesn't compare to japanese restaurants in larger cities, but for where it is.. it's just fine. THe sushi is very good.. always fresh and tasty, and the price is good. The lunch entrees are the best deal.. same meal at dinner is double. more

By far the best sushi restaraunt around 12/29/2005

Located on the corner of Sarno and Croton Road, this is one excellent sushi restaraunt! Technically, I suppose it is called a Japenese Steakhouse, but they have an amazingly extensive sushi menu that brings in the majority of their customers! The sushi is always very fresh, rolled to perfection and very reasonably priced for the quality and quantity! more

If you love Sushi, go to Gen-Nai! 8/19/2005

Gen-Nai is open Monday thru Friday 11:30 to 2:00 PM for lunch and reopens at 5:00 PM for dinner. They feature an all you can eat sushi bar for an hour for the cost of $23.00. What a great deal! When you go, try the MPD roll, it's incredible. The ginger dressing is the best. The chef's seem to remember everyone who comes back and they can recommend what's best that day. Very friendly staff and great atmosphere make this place my favorite restaurant in Brevard County! more

Great for sushi, OK for other dishes 8/17/2005

I ate at Gen Nai two times, once at the sushi bar and once I ordered off the menu. The sushi tasted great but when I ordered the teryaki chicken from the menu it was dry and bland. I was not pleased at all when I ordered the teryaki chicken and I will probably opt for the higher price items such as the teryaki steak if I ever order from the menu again. But most likely I would only go back for the sushi. more
