Boots never in my size... 1/19/2011

Every Time I need work boots. The boots will have to be "special ordered" due to the boots (Red wings) in my size (11.5) not being in stock? The time frame that I am told - 3-4 weeks!?!?\r This has happened 3 times in a 18 month period...\r Maybe it's bad timing on my part or their keeping their inventory to the bare minimum. Freeing up funds for other departments... more

Great place to get work shoes 2/17/2008

I go Gellco to get work shoes. I am given a voucher by my company. I can always find my size anytime I go to Gellco. The staff in the shoes department is very knowledgeable of all types of shoes. They specialize in outfitter clothes. Their prices are pretty high. Would recommend if your company is purchasing your shoes more

Go There If You're In A Fix 8/11/2005

I shop at Gellco quite a bit, but I'm beginning to get discouraged with them. They are letting customer service slip as far as custom ordering. My husband needed some arrows custom made. He was told to come back 4 times before they were finally ready. He was told after the 3rd time that they would "make it right" with him on the price. When he picked them up, they discounted them .50 each - which was more expensive than the other store up the road. They have a good selection of camo, but you can get it cheaper online if you have time to wait for shipping. PROS: Convenient CONS: Price/Customer Service more
