I was a active customer at Best Buy...until I bought a computer...
I bought a pretty good 900 dollar gamer laptop and the salesman was the probably best experience I have had through this whole thing. I told him what I was looking for in a laptop and he directed me to the one I needed and was pretty knowledgeable about it. I got the computer because it was fast and it had a keyboard that lit up so you can see the keyboard in the dark. So I buy it and take it home. Just about three months later the audio goes out. I take it back and they decide to ship it off to their ""Geek Squad Headquarters."" They said it would take about 2-3 weeks to get it back. So I say ""Whatever, I just want it fixed."" It comes back 4 weeks later and they apparently had to replace the motherboard, the hard drive, AND the audio. So they need my restore disks to restore the operating system. No problem, computers come with that when you buy them right? WRONG, I had to pay $35 for disks I shouldn't need in the first place. It was a audio problem with no signs of hard drive failure. But I bought them anyway and it took them about a week to get here. So they restore my system and that took another 5 days, apparently they are never staffed to fix computers within a reasonable time. So if your keeping score this has taken almost two months for a computer that I've had for three months to be fixed, ridiculous.
After I finally get my computer back, its in working condition with factory settings. I load up all my stuff that I use on the laptop and guess what I find out? Remember that cool function where the keyboard lights up? That function no longer works... they gave it back to me with something else totally wrong with it.
Nothing else to do but bite the bullet, let them fix what they broke for another month (they have to ship it back again) and never buy anything from Best Buy again. I am done with them.
