In my experience the Geek Squad hasn't lived up to it's hype.\r
Back in the day they were a manageable group of educated people who provided quality services to consumers and who well deserved their respect.\r
Now a days, the geek squad has become a massive flock of young people who, unfortunately, lack the training and edcuation required to be responsible for repairs on expensive computers.\r
Granted, their work on home theater systems and televisions may be up to par but I haven't turned to them for help in that field - only for computer repairs.\r
Each time I've gone to them, at a variety of locations, my experience has been unsatisfactory.\r
Whether it's a virus/malware issue, a hard drive problem or data recovery they somehow manage to leave a bitter taste in my mouth.\r
\r
Upon reading various reviews online I've come to learn I'm not the only one displeased with the Geek Squad's quality of service.\r
I found an alternitive company called Secure Remote Support which provides computer repair at a fraction of Geek Squad's bizzare rates and much more efficiently.\r
I highly reccomend www.SecureRemoteSupport(dot)com for everyone's future computer repair needs.
Pros: Friendly Associates
Cons: Quality of service
