I took a hp notebook in for repair, won't start up from sleep mode or shut off if it did not wake up. I was told the first time there was nothing wrong with it. When I picked it up the tech witnessed the issue and sent it out for repair with a detailed note as to the issue. I picked it up two weeks later to find out that the hp tech in Kentucky replaced a bad speaker (that wasn't bad). This notebook is only three months old at this point. I have been told that I can either let the geek squad send it out again or go directly to hp. I choose hp. Best buy wont exchange or refund because its out of its 30 day warranty with them. So, now I have been on the phone for a total of 4 hours with hp and still not sure the issue is fixed. I may still have to sip it to hp directly, will determine that later today.
