If you want to take a trip to hell and back, then rent here. Honestly I do not know how this company stays alive. The worst customer service I have ever seen from any business, its like something you'd see in a movie. Really run down buidlings. Crappy tenants (drugs dealers, nasty neigbrors). Bug infested (bed bugs, flees). Slow maintenance. Worse of all, bad property managers. They put anyone in there, I swear they dont run any kind of good background check. Sherri is extremely rude. They post nasty letters on peoples doors, talk to tenants like a piece of s*it. They dont take care of any problems and the buildings look run down inside and out. They tease you in with rent specials and same day signings, dont fall for it like I did. They try to lock you in before you can think about it and look around. LOOK around there are way nicer buildings and companies for around the same prices. I looked at their other buildings when I thought about renewing....Karstens Rd, Blossom Rd, Port Vista and some scary looking buildings off of Mayfair--all the same (nasty buildings, creepy people) Even their so called "" best building"", Pine Ridge, is a bit ghetto. They do not even have a professional looking office. Honestly this company makes me think of a slum lord. Please beware, look at Goldleaf properties. I move into one of their buildings, best choice ever! more

The location and appearance of the apartment were nice, but the management was simply intolerable. Maintenance requests went ignored, phone calls picked up by the answering machine were rarely, if ever, responded to, and the office staff was extremely rude and unwilling to be helpful with anything. dont rent from them...i had madison property management for half year i thought they were bad not even close and they sold the place to colonial management ....they are byfar the worst management company in madison...they take forever to fix things in your apartment....damage your rental history over the little complaints from tenants....employees are not good and are rude when trying to call them for something...better off leaving a message....dont even think they will call you back too BECUZ THEY WONT...had a old stove and oven that was getting hot on the outside...did not replace it intill i called consumer protection on them....
