Right off of Highway One, this Rosticceria is something you might pass by unless you knew it was there. Gayle's is a one stop place for any occasion- they boast a bakery which is phenomenal. Their Princess Cakes (sponge, whipped cream, ganache...) are legendary throughout Santa Cruz, as is their crusty French bread. They also feature a full service espresso bar with any drink that you could ever want; and they're willing to make something special for you if you want it. Their Rosticceria serves a wide variety of food, from lunch foods (pasta salads, sandwiches, etc) to full plate dinners (their Blue Plate dinners are fabulous). This is the perfect place to go for those nights when cooking just doesn't sound like a fun idea.
