Don't be deterred when you walk into this small deli/bakery/grocery and nothing lining the shelves or sitting in the glass deli cases looks very familiar. Here's where the fun begins. It's worth your while to sample impossible-to-find treats like khachapuri: pastry-encrusted cheese bread, sweet poppy seed rolls, or a bottle of Russian vodka scrawled with Cyrillic script. Although the staff doesn't speak much English, they'll do their best to explain the goods. The adventurous will always find something new here, unless of course, you're Russian.
Pros: great smoked fish, Russian baked goods, VERY affordable
Cons: not many workers speak English
