Food:\r Buffalo chicken tenders are awesome, a legend with the Seton Hall kids that frequent the place. That's how I got my start. Beer cheese soup is delicious, as is the bread it comes with. Pot of appetizer is incredibly delicious. Homemade hot sauce and sausages that hang over the bar are both very tasty. Grilled chicken salad for something healthy, very tasty. more

This place had one of the best burgers ever: The Ante-Gator burger. Made of Antelope, Alegator, and Pork. AWESOME. unfortunately they don't make it anymore. Every dish is good. You'll get a lot of food and you can be sure it will be good. more

Gaslight was one of the first breweries I tried after moving to South Orange, and I can confidently say I will be visiting often. Between Gaslight's weekly brew specials and a great pub menu I was immediately sold. The first time I went, I tried the gaslight burger, mainly because it seemed appropriate, and it was grilled to perfection with some addicting fries to compliment. On my second visit I tried the wings which were unfortunately a little skimpy on the meat.\r \r Overall if you are looking for a chill night with some friends, a good brew, some solid food, and a game of shuffle board or darts, gaslight is the pub for you. more

I have been here many times so I feel it appropriate to write a review. I will start by saying the food is EXCELLENT, which is what keeps me coming back. The drinks are also great. My favorite dish is the chili (vegetarian) .. You can tell its homemade and loaded with delicious veggies and flavor. The grilled chicken stack is my go to dish because it's a variety of foods (chicken, asparagus, leeks, cauliflower mash, and more) and there is always enough to take home and make another meal for lunch the next day (great value in my opinion).. I say try gaslight, the food is worth it! more

Great Restaurant/Bar. The food here is great. Huge menu, burgers are good. Pub fare is good. Ribs are amazing and fall off the bone. They make their own AWESOME bbq sauce too. Not the cheapest place, but give it to them, make their own beer, sell great beers, make great food and have created a great bbq sauce recipe. This place took me through college (Seton Hall University) and will definitely be going here for years to come. more

I love this place! 8/3/2002

I saw a review on here that is very old so I thought I'd put a new one. I have been coming at least once a week since shortly after they opened. And I liked it when it opened and it has just gotten better. The owner are great and one of them is always there. The food is outstanding and the beers are always spot-on. If they ever close like the last reviews says, not only will I be surprised but heartbroken. it's had to find a place that is cosistantly as good as this place. Pros: Great Parking, Great housebrews Cons: Often Very Crowded more
