Originally when we started service in 2003 the tank was filled from 0 to 80% capacity of a 120 gallon tank specifically a (420 vertical ASME” with 120 gallon capacity). \r
After years of service with no problems until we called for service on November 6, 2009 the beginning of the cool season. This time the tank was only filled from 0 to 60% capacity. This is 20% under capacity and in the cooler months you will be using more gas and pay at higher winter rates. An increase of about 70% annually for the additional service. \r
After receiving the bill we noticed a $50.00 charge for checking the system, something they had never done in all the years of doing business with them. \r
I contacted the office to complain about the charge with a woman who usually answers the phone. She ended up being so rude I ended up speaking with the branch manager to resolve the issue.\r
After this incident along with the poor customer service and lack of honesty in the company we decide to write a letter canceling the service. We gave them 10 days to pick-up their equipment. \r
After 3 weeks I had to contact the corporate office to inform them of what was going on.\r
They had the manager out the same day. I thought we were through with these people until I received a collection letter in the mail. I called the corporate office and spoke with the same person I spoken to before. She tells me they use a third party company (collection agency) to mail out the final bill. \r
So what it comes down to is whatever they say the bill is you pay or we ruin your credit.\r
I know that I’m not the only person to have been victimized by this organization because of the many other complaints and reviews I have read. If you don’t want to get ripped-off or your credit tampered with I would think twice about this company.\r
Pros: Act friendly when getting business
Cons: Once you're in they act badly
