Find fish food 12/28/2005

I recently got a blue fighting fish as a gift and so I needed to buy food to feed it. I went to Garvey Fish and Pet to look for little food pellets and I bought a package. But when I took it home, my fish wouldn't eat it and I wasn't sure what to do (being a first time pet owner and all). I went back and bought a different brand of food and the fish ate that, so I was happy that I didn't make the same mistake again. The employee at the store was helpful in my decision. more

Fighting Fish 8/21/2005

Garvey Fish & Pet is an okay but small pet store. They mostly sell fish and they are at a decent price. I like Garvey Fish & Pet because they sell fighting fish. My friends bought some and we watched as they attacked each other. My friends said that the fight was worth the money and that they were going to buy more later. more

Pets 8/19/2005

Garvey Fish & Pet is a nice place to buy fishes. They have many different types of fishes including fighting fishes. The prices are also very cheap. They also have other pets such as mice and birds. The only downside of this store is the really bad smell but most pet stores have to smell. more

My dear, the trauma! 8/9/2005

This place is relatively messy for a pet shop but I came here anyways since it was close to the 99 ranch market I enjoyed frequenting. I was buying a present for my then 6 year old son's birthday and my eye caught a lovely koi fish. So I bought it, took it home, and found it dead the next day. My son was devastated. He had named the fish and was quite affectionate towards it already. I bought my fish elsewhere and so far, they've been thriving. more

Fishes 8/9/2005

This is the place where I bought my first fish and that fish die in the same day that I bought it. The reason was that I did not have the water pump and air pump for them. Then later my dad when to that store again and bought a bight fish tank. That tank is 50 gallon and bought all the stuff that you need for the fish. I don’t like that place too much because I think that most of that time I think that stuff is over price and the fish don’t look all that good too. more
