Garry Small Saab

I was driving through Portland, on my way to the coast when my check engine light came on. I came to Garry Small Saab with no appointment & they took me right in. They were able to not only fix my car that afternoon, but also saved me money by locating a used part that I needed. To find out that they are a family run operation made it even better! They treated me like I was part of a family, a Saab family. If you drive a Saab & are in the Portland area I really think you should give them a call! Their service is wonderful & so are the people who work behind the counter! more

I purchased an extended warranty sold by Garry Small Saab for my 2001 Saab. Recently, a major engine part failed on my Saab. The repair was a covered repair under the warranty, however, the warranty company filed for bankruptcy after I had purchased the warranty. Pros: Honored extended warranty where company went bankrupt more

I called 5 minutes to closing time because my car had quit working. Pros: Treat you as they would want to be treated! Cons: nothing more

We went to Gary Small b/c it was close to our house and we needed something done quickly. BAD mistake. They overcharged for just about everything they did. They then quoted us 6x more than we paid elsewhere for a repair that they hoped would 'help' fix the situation. I don't normally write bad reviews for places but the fact that they wanted over $1000 more than the next shop (which was amazing) is unacceptable. Maybe they are a good place to buy a Saab. But they are NOT a good place to fix a Saab. Pros: They have tools Cons: They will charge you exorbitant amounts of money to use those tools more

The staff at Garry Small Saab are wonderful. They made me feel like family. They went above and beyond to find the car I wanted. I will be a forever customer. Garry Small and Mell Vale were by far the best salespeople I have ever worked with. Kudos for the excellent job! If you want a relaxed, no pressure place to buy your vehicle Garry Small Saab is the place. This is not your ordinary new car dealership. I was even told they could find a used car (not just a Saab) if I needed one. I need to buy my daughter a vehicle and I will be taking Garry Small up on his offer to locate the perfect vehicle. Pros: knowledge of the product, relaxed, friendly, being able to work with the owner, employees are very nice, just the total atmosphere of the dealership Cons: nothing more
