Excellent Place 8/21/2005

I highly recomend this restaurant. Garretts is one of my favorite all-around restaurants in town. It has a really cool laid back atmoshphere. The food is great. I suggest the sea food pasta or the shrimp macaroni and cheese. Its right on the driving range as well so while your waiting for your food you can hit a bucket of golf balls. more

Not Just for Golfers 8/16/2005

Although it overlooks a golf course, this is an excellent choice for dining with friends who've never picked up a club. It is a friendly place with good menu choices featuring American food with a twist: sweet potato fries, ravioli filled with sun dried tomatos and mushrooms, and awesome deserts. Best of all, the menu changes from time to time, with old standards hanging on. Try the awesome grilled cheese. You'll be back. more

A favorite! 8/15/2005

I love this place. I go about once a month with friends and when the weather is nice, you absolutely must eat outside. The service is fast and drinks are always refilled. You dont leave wanting for anything else. The salads are fresh and amazing, as are their other dishes. I love that you can watch people hit golf balls as you dine. Such a fun place! more

Medium Priced (kinda competes with chains) Restaurant 8/13/2005

Garretts is a great place to eat if you're tired of the chains...Chili's/applebees etc.... You're still going to pay about the same, but the food is SO much better. They have a grilled cheese and asparagus sandwich which, trust me, is out of this world. And I don't even like asparagus. Every thing I've ever had here has been wonderful, and always leftovers to take home. It gets crowded quick though, so get their early or be prepared to wait. more
