Great Bar! 12/10/2006

This is a really great bar downtown! Its not on the extremely touristy Hubbard St which is awesome! The bartenders are wicked nice and personable, they really like to get involved with the crowd thats there and make conversation. This bar is also great to go to during the day for brunch or lunch.. their sandwiches are really good and they've actually got good martinis! more

Definitely worth 9/28/2005

...a look. The decor itself is beautiful - exposed brick walls, comfy chairs and couches, dark wood, etc. The drink menu consists of the usual Irish beers and whiskeys, but they also have a large martini list as well. The food is way, way better than your average bar grub. Parking is horrid; you are better off taking a cab or public transportation. more

Good Local Bar 8/20/2005

Garrett Ripley's is a good local pub-like bar to go to after work. The steak sandwich and the brie appetizer are really good. They also have a non-smoking section near the front, which is nice. The bartenders privde good service. It's a good place to go to hang out and relax with a few friends. more
