After reading the last review, I was almost turned off from going to this restaurant. We too, eat at Amura, Fishbones and Normans at Ritz Carlton on occasion. But I'm glad I wasn't and went regardless. The food was exceptional and the ambiance was great. Lighted trees on a patio and a outdoor tuscan fire place. Our server was knowledgeable about the dishes. although he made a few minor eras, he was polite, friendly and helpful. Everything was made with fresh ingredients. The bread came warm, fresh and delicious with a smashed roasted garlic clove. (your not kissing anyone after you have some of that) and puttenesca sauce(spicy) was great was well, It was kid friendly enough, in the way they had high chairs and booster seats. Although being a parent of three, I carried my own crayons and books which helped. Our server was great too, he places our kids entree in early, so they didn't have to wait long. My husband had the Clams Blanco, which was so flavorful, he was dipping his bread in the sauce. with had tons of minced galic and fresh herbs. The calamari was great, too. It was perfectly cooked, nice and soft, but not underdone.(not overcooked, and chewy).
Pros: Ambiance and great food, live music, too
Cons: no kids crayons and paper, but you can just bring your own
