When we moved to Indiana from Michigan I still owned a cottage in Michigan and was having difficulty finding insurance since it was strictly seasonal and unheated. Gardner Insurance filed for some special designation that would allow them to write an out of state policy. No one else even suggested this. I no longer have that property and had thought my rates might be a little high so I started getting some quotes and have stayed with them. They are an independent insurance agent and deal with many companies. We've only filed one claim but that was handles very efficiently.
