No, seriously, I'm not even exaggerating a little! I have been to a couple of weddings here, and the people who run this place don't seem to have souls. Everything is very plastic and fake.
Worse than that they have tons of rules like, they will not let you, or any of your vendors into the building until just one hour before your event is scheduled to happen.
I had a friend whose family had spent days baking traditional cookies from the recipes of both the bride and groom's grandmother's. They arrived about 2 hours before the event. The staff was there, but unwilling to unlock the doors and let them in even just long enough to bring the cookies into the kitchen where they could stay cool.
The staff told them that because the bride and groom had not paid extra to have access to the venue at that time, they would not be allowed in the building!
This poor family had to sit in their cars with the air conditioners running in hopes of keeping dozens of cookies preserved.
I was also witness to the staff taking the best man and maid of honor aside before the event and informing them that they would be responsible for keeping the guests in order! Can you imagine?
I have seen people who have had too much to drink forced to get into their cars and leave the property, or force the bride and groom to incur overtime expenses!
The list just goes on and on.
I realize that this place is pretty convenient and all that, but at what price? Do you really want a cookie cutter wedding that won't even allow you to keep your cookies fresh?
