Garden Ridge

Went to the Garden Ridge to get a king size comforter set. To my surprise several were 50 percent off. Purchased a king that was marked as king, only to find out at home that it was a queen. Returned it and looked for another, it had safety ties on it so I thought it had not been opened. Bomber it was also a queen. I did not know sales at garden ridge equaled inferior used products...No more bedding from you guys. more

If there was a zero I would rate this place a zero. I bought $200 worth of stuff and the check out person packed a glass bowl so poorly it had cracked by the time we got to the car, I even cut my hand when I picked it up. I wasn't mad about it at all just wanted to exchange it for a new one. I went back in the store and they would not exchange it or refund it. I haven't shopped there since that happened and I will never spend another dime there again. more

I have lived in Katy for years, but have only ventured into Garden Ridge Pottery a few times. Some of their items seemed to be poor quality and I hadn't been impressed with the deals. This weekend we went in to buy a patio table set and I was pleasantly surprised. The patio sets were good quality and they had a lot of fun summer items out. I bought a set of 4 sturdy baskets with liners for my living room shelves for less than $20. I had just priced these at Target for $10-15 for each basket. I will definitely go back, especially to find inexpensive decorative items and party supplies. I also got some coloring books (with stickers inside) as party favors for my daughter's birthday for 0.50 each. The cons of Garden Ridge - crowds on the weekend and picking through some of the cheaply made things to find the good stuff. But definitely worth a trip. more
