We ran out of time to shop for a Christmas tree this year, so we decided to call Garden Gate and have one delivered. It was the best tree we ever had! Not only was the tree delivered promptly and on time, it came with a stand and they brought it into the house and set it up for us. Since we skipped the usually important step of sorting through endless rows of trees looking for a good one we were nervous about the quality. It the best looking tree we ever had! On top of that, it lost almost no needles! None of the usual daily sweeping up around the tree. I highly recommend these folks. Pros: Great service more

Better Options 4/11/2009

The Garden Gate is a nice nursery, but in terms of plant selection and prices, there are better places in town. Yes, their plants are of good quality, but the sources are the same as most other local nurseries. They typically offer several programs/events which are a great resource, and in terms of nursery grounds, they are exceptional. Pros: Beautiful Setting, Programming Cons: Selection, price more
