We had a quite large dinner party held at the Garden Gate Restaurant two weeks ago. Each individual person were going to pay for their meals. My aunt had purchased and fifty newspapers to receive the ""$2-off coupons"" that the restaurant advertised for. Another cousin of mine, had a reusable coupon purchased from the football boosters from Monata HS. The coupon stated that if you buy one meal, you get one free. This REUSABLE coupon did NOT state that it could not be used more than once in a day. Our family started checking out, using the buy one get one coupon. The cashier rang us all up, where we went back to our room to converse and enjoy one anothers' company. I'm assuming it was the man in charge, he came into the room and demanded we pay for at least eight meals. He felt cheated because we used his coupons, and he honored them AFTER all the transactions had been completed. He had NO idea how many people had or had not paid for meals. The man made us pay for the meals before leaving. As a business owner myself, I believe in making the customer happy. If you advertise with coupons, it is your DUTY to honor those coupons. That is why they make FINE PRINT. I am a VERY dissatisfied customer and NONE of my family will be going back to this restaurant. The best mode of advertisement is through word of mouth, so SPREAD THE WORD.
Pros: Good food
Cons: Rude, mean, unfaithful people...
