As much as I enjoy playing video games, I'm of the opinion that they are too expensive ($50) for a product that you're might enjoy for 3-10 hours. Some games have zero replay value (once you've beaten it, why play again?) and a lot of games simply don't live up to the hype. What's a girl on a budget to do? Well, the answer is either a) rent or b) buy used games! I do both....but Games 4 Less is a great New/Used video store that has a decent selection.
The walls are lined with games for all of the current platforms and a lot of the classic systems (NES, Genesis, Dreamcast, PSOne, etc). I was able to find a used game that had only been out for 2 weeks (and was very popular) for $10 less than Wal-Mart because it was missing a manual (who reads them anyway?). The best deals are probably on older games (more than 6 months old). Last time I stopped in I walked out with two games for $8....which is cheaper than renting them!
A good feature to note is that they have a selection of used gaming hardware (controllers, consoles, memory cards, etc), so if you have a broken controller and don't want to pay a lot for a replacement - or would like to relive the glory days and play Zelda on an original NES....look no further.
