Funco Land was a reat company carrying a huge amount of games dating back all the way to the Nintendo. Unfortunently they were bought out and turned into either EB games or Gamestops. They quit selling the huge variety games and only have the new stuff and value their self on the latest "trends". This is fine for a business stand point but as to review BAKERSFIELD's 3 gamestops.. They are horrible. I have lived in the WA area for 20 years and the Tucson AZ area for 5+ years and have been to 20+ gamestops/Eb games stores. The company to hardcore gamers has been a laughing stock due to poor employees and the fact that they hound you to preorder games. I never had a problem with this until I got to Bakersfield. It looks like they only hired off of looks hiring the bubble gum girls especially at the Rosedale store.... I asked some very simple questions like which of the 4 Playstation 3s(20g, 40g, 60g, and 80g versions) are fully backwards compatible with PS1 and Ps2 games.. th more

Funco land is a good place to purchase video games. They also buy back games and give you an ok price for them. Not the best prices on buy backs but no store around here gives you what you should get for your used games. They always have what I am looking for in stock and the guys who work in here are great people. more

Funco land is a nice small store that sells video games. You can buy new or used games here and you can trade or sell your old games. They seem to always have the hot games in stock. more

Funcoland is another one of my favorite places to go for my video game purchases. I have both bought and traded in games here and I have always been happy with my purchases. One time I hated the game I bought and they let me return it and they gave me full price for it. I dont know if that is their standard practice but it makes me happy that they were willing to make the customer happy that means a lot to me. more

They have a great video game selection. They normally have what I am looking for. However, the prices are sometimes higher here than at other stores. I would call around to check prices before buying anything here. more
