Gamble House 8/20/2005

This beautiful house was designed and built by Charles and Henry Greene and is one of the best examples of Arts and Crafts design. It has been immaculately restored (the exterior has recently undergone a huge restoration project) and offers tours most Thursday and Sunday afternoons and is a great place to take out of town visitors to show them a true piece of Pasadena history. Their bookstore next door has a great selection of not only books, but gift items as well, including artisanal pottery, rugs and wall hangings. more
