Good, when it's not too crowded 8/30/2006

Gallup Park is a very enjoyable place for picnics, boating, jogging, and biking. Biking is particularly good in the early morning (I go about 3 times a week) before the place gets too crowded -- which it does often. The other thing to watch out for are the geese. more

Awesome Park 3/31/2006

This is my all time favorite park in Ann Arbor. There is so much to do here, and its a great place to take the family or go for some quiet time to yourself. Great for exercising as well. They have endless paths, that are often full of bike riders and joggers. BBQ's and pavilions are also available, and you can also rent out canoe's and paddle boats. Some days it can be hard to find parking, but you could alsways park at the high school across the street if need be. Playgournds fo rkids, and dog friendly!! A wonderful place! more

Wonderful Jogging Path 10/1/2005

Gallup Park provides the best place for family or friends to go over the weekends. They have a wonderful jogging path. People also BBQ a lot over there. They have a great number of Canadian geese around. You can watch how they grow up, from little yellow one to a beautiful big black/black/grey one. It's great! more

A park for everyone! 8/16/2005

Gallup Park is located on 3000 Fuller Road, across the street from Huron High School. It offer canoeing, paddleboat rental, two playgrounds, youth fishing, walking trails, bike rentals, and a few shelters for picnics. Recent additions include Zingerman's coffee at the snack bar, making this the perfect Ann Arbor hangout. The only drawbacks are the homicidal geese who can attack your picnic, and the lack of parking on weekends. more
