I've watched this place grow from just a sandwich deli to a full service restaurant and then with a bar and inside seating, It is not a fluke and it is not a palace. It is a fine casual dockside cafe and bar. The prices are reasonable and the service is just fine.\r more

The wait staff is extremely friendly and always attentive. It is amazing to watch how those girls work. In a normal restaurant a server may have a five to eight table section but these girls take on sections three times the average and bravo for them.\r more

Go with a few people so you can get the window seat and catch the fantastic view. You get to look over the marina while eating breakfast, nothing else could be better. A definite spot to go on Sunday after church. Want a bargain, come here on a Thursday when it's all you can eat fish and chips. These are the two days you'll catch me here. I think it's the best days for Galley At the Marina. Most of the food here is bar food or breakfast items. Sure beats Denny's or IHOP if you ask me.\r more

We came here for three things, an awesome view, fish and chips and beer. I am happy to report we not only found them, we found excellent selections in each category! Their fish and chips was the perfect blend of light airy fluffy beer batter, French fries perfect, great selection of beer and a super cool, very beautiful spot to sit and just be.\r more

We always get good prompt service, the specials are always good eating and the fish and chips on Thursdays is so popular you usually have to wait in line to get seated. I've watched this place grow from just a sandwich deli to a full service restaurant and then with a bar and inside seating, it is not a fluke and it is not a palace. Love being able to sit and watch the sunset over the marina from The Galley's outside seating. Don't let the weather stop you from coming here. They have inside seating with a fireplace going. Outside they have heaters that will keep you nice and warm.\r more

We always go to the 'Galley' when we are in San Diego. The food is always fresh and we know the owner takes pride in it! The live music packs the place so be sure to get there early. We arrived at 6:30pm on a weeknight and it was already full. more
