the Galleria mall is great, indoor parking garage means you ever have to walk far to find your car. The location is great, right by the beach and the Galleria movie theather is right across the street. Inside the mall you'll find 2 floors of shopping fun with all your favorite department stores, and trendy teen shops. The food court has yummy places to eat, my favorite is ms Feilds cookies shop. This mall usually is not as crowded as most malls, esspecially during the holidays when other malls are packed. more

A shoppers delight 7/9/2005

Very often when visiting my daughter in Ft Lauderdale we decide to do a bit of shopping so to the Galleria we go. Anchored on all ends by major dept stores, Macy's, Lord and Taylor, Neiman Marcus and Saks you can always find something to fit any budget...The smaller boutique stores are excellent too but the only drawback is the lack of any toy stores or the Disney Store should the urge to buy something for her little boys overwhelms me... They just redid their foodcourt with all sorts of wonderful and tasty places to eat if you decide not to go into one of the major restaurants in the mall, the Capitol Grill or the Blue Martini. Plenty of parking is available also PROS: Great variety of stores CONS: none more

nice mall at great location 6/15/2005

I like this mall a lot for many reasons, first the free garage parking in great, you can almost always find a parking close to an entrance. the mall has many nice stores and a great food court. it has 2 stories of shopping fun with great deals along the way, something for everyone! more

The Galleria ~ Best Mall in the Lauderdale Area 5/28/2005

Being a chick, I love to shop. This means I have frequented numerous malls over the yearws and Lauderdale's Galleria is one of the best. They have four anchor stores, where most malls have only two. Dillard's, Macy's, Neiman Marcus, and Saks Fifth Avenue... along with a variety of other chains such as Sepphora, Sunglass Hut, Pottery Barn, and Williams-Sonoma. The mall is huge and sparkling clean and sports a variety of great restaurants, Blue Martini and Capitol Grille to name but two. Along with that is a wonderful food court which is not like regular food courts. This all run by Piazza di Giorgio and offers everything from hot Turkey meals to health-food sandwiches. A wonderful mall to wile away the day or scratch that itch for a serious shopping spree. A little something for everyone can be found here. PROS: Wide variety of stores CONS: I need a higher credit limit! more
