A refreshing change from the big malls 3/15/2006

If you're looking for a change from the big malls in the area (like South Hills Village and The Mall at Robinson), then the Galleria might be for you. Don't expect to see any anchor stores here, but they do have some great boutiques and upscale retailers, like Restoration Hardware, Talbots, and Crabtree and Evelyn. My mom and I used to walk around, catch a movie at the small but very clean Cinemark, and then have lunch at one of the sit-down restaurants. Overall, a great place to spend an afternoon! more

Great mall for browsing 3/12/2006

During the few trips my wife and I have made to the Galleria, we haven't purchased much. Stores are upscale boutique and national retailers, like Williams Sonoma, Restoration Hardware, and Talbots. There's also a few local merchants, but overall it's upscale retail. There's not a formal food court, but there is a Panera and two restaurants with table service. There's free covered parking in the garage and a Carmike Cinema on the second level. Overall, a good place to browse, but don't expect any bargains. more
