Gallagher's River City Grill

Have eaten there many times before but this time it was REALLY bad. Ordered 2 appetizers, a spinach salad, and potato soup. It took ~1 HOUR to get the appetizers alone (onion rings and spinach dip) and then nearly another 45 minutes for the salad and soup. Really ridiculous!!! I went to complain to the manager/owner and was sort of blown off after telling him about our wait, the fact that folks who had arrived after us had received their ""normal"" meals before us, that we had been coming to River City since it opened and this was the worst of several bad incidents we had experienced there. He basically blew me off and said that ""it had been a long time since anybody had said there was a problem"". I told him that I knew a lot of people in the area and that I would probably not be recommending his place to any of them. His demeanor was sort of like ""oh well"", not real apologetic, etc. Very disappointed!!! more

This restaurant was recommended by a Sterling native, and I read some online reviews. Was somewhat skeptical, but couldn't find anything else in town that looked interesting. Man - did this place exceed my expectations! Great service, terrific food, nice setting - great place. They have a lot of variety on the menu (both dishes and price) and this is obviously a place that people from Sterling frequent. I predict that you will not be disappointed. more
