Manager (or that's what she called herself) Meghan very RUDE!!! DO NOT GO HERE. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!! This place needs to be SHUT DOWN!! Very RUDE and NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! This Manager needs a customer service CLASS!!! She fail to realize that if there's no customers she will not have a JOB!!! DO NOT GO!!! go somewere eles were they will value your business and not treat you with no RESPECT!!!! Try going to Boomer's or Pines Ice Skating Arena!!! You have been WARNED!!!! more

I'm in my late 30 and I loved to skate as a kid so I decided to go skating on Saturday night. When I got there the manager said it Hip-Hop night and there would be a lot of people to make sure I wanted to come in. I looked in and the place was on fire it took me back to the old days. The DJ was great and I had a time of my life. I even skated during the glow skate sooooooo cool. more

Went there this past weekend and what a blast! We went from 1:30 to 4:30. What a show the DJ was great they plated games interacted with the customers.The place was clean and my family and myself realy injoyed ourselyes. Cant wait to get a chance to go back. more

I love Galaxy. Having been to every session they have i can honestly say they have a session for every age group. It is so much fun there and they do great jobs of keepng kids entertained by playing all types of games like red light green light and four corners ect. i cant wait to check out there ladies night and hope it lives up to galaxys standards. I totaly recoment this place to anyone looking for a good time more

For all the old school and new school skaters, this place is for you! The key to finding the ideal days and times to enjoy yourself is to check their on-line monthly calendar. When I take my child and friends, Saturday mroning or Sunday evenings are ideal...they also offer special early release school hours.\r \r If you are up to running with the big dogs, and like contemporary music combined with some disco then you will definitely have a great time on Friday and Saturday nights...just like anywhere else in Florida these days are for grown folks and those teens who know how to act at a skating rink :) more

My very first experience with Galaxy in Hollywood, FL should have been my last. I took my family including my 7 year old to skate on a Saturday night at around 7pm. The first hour was cool, then at around 8p, the DJ started playing music with vulgar, profane and racist (i.e., ""n-word"") language in it. I immediately asked for the manager, a older white lady identifying herself at the manager explained that it's ""hip-hop night"". I pointed around the skating rink showing her how many kids under the age of 18 were there and that she could still play hip-hop music without the cursing. Radio does it all the time. She shrugged and said, ""sorry, it's hip-hop night"". She did give us passes to come back during the day on Saturday and for that reason only decided to give the place another chance. We had nice time skating as a family on Sat and my kid decided he wanted to have his birthday party there. BIG MISTAKE! Long-story short, this same older white lady was in charge of a game where the kids were to skate and stop on her command. My daughter who is only 5 and a new skater apparently skated towards the lady before it was her turn... this lady sticks her arm straight out in front of my daughters face causing her to fall backwards and slam her head against the floor. This ""manager"" then proceeded to draft a phony ""accident report"" where she claimed the child fell on her own and hit her head. Now we all know that head injuries can be extremely serious... maybe even causing death. As a precaution and because of the false accident report (which she adamantly refused to amend) I called the paramedics and the police. This manager retaliated against me by throwing me out of the skating rink during my 7 year old son's birthday party, causing me to miss the singing of Happy Birthday and the exchange of gifts. It was a terrible experience. I caution anyone thinking of going to Galaxy Skating Rink in Hollywood... think twice. These people care nothing about playing vulgar music in front of young kids and they will lie to cover up their negligent actions that cause injury to small children. This is not a family friendly business. It is poorly run, poorly managed and quite frankly needs to be shut down because it's a public menace. I did file a police report of this incident and every thing I have included here regarding the birthday party is a matter of public record. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
