They have great message treatments and the spa is the perfect compliment to the gym. I love the variety of classes and everyone is so helpful. It is worth every penny. more

This is THE spa and health club in Scottsdale. I have only been as a guest of another member, but if I could afford it, I'd belong. It is such a pleasure to work out there. The equipment is new and always taken care of, there is a basketball court, and classrooms for all sorts of fitness techniques, but the Yoga and aerobics classes are terrific.\r There is also a health bar and the changing rooms are very\r high end and classy.\r It's a bit steep to afford, but if you can, it's the best. more

We absolutely love it here. Their spin classes are the best I've been to. They turn the lights down and turn the music up and then kick your butt. They have fantastic, up to date exercise classes. Their yoga is great. They have the top of the line exercise and cardio equipment. The staff is always courteous. The locker room has all the amenities you could dream of. The steam room has fresh eucalyptus spray so it is always fresh. I highly recommend this place. more

I had a wonderful experience at the gainey village spa. I had the Avania spa massage with a friendly, courteous service. The spa was relaxing and pleasant. The only thing I would change is the koi pond. It's aesthetically unpleasant and there's no koi. more

Once I had a friend who worked here, so she could get me in for "trial" workout or whatever. I would never be able to afford this place otherwise. It is one of the most beautfiul gyms and spas I have ever been too. They are so expensive, but I have heard that this is the place to be. Many times they have famous people that come and work out here. They had one of the best yoga classes I have ever been to. Also, they have agreat childcare. Thier parking is great, and ample. I really appreicate all of the extra aminities they offer. The locker rooms are practically spas themselves. They have a great massage thereapist (I know!). I cannot discount my treatment - Sherry gave me a fabulous Sedona Mud Wrap. However, the rest of the spa left a great deal to be desired - we waited almost an hour and a half for our lunch to arrive (when they said it'd be 20 minutes), my friend's treatment was 15 minutes late, there were no towels available at the pool or in the gym, and nobody gave us an introduction to the facilities! The Spa at Gainey Village is a complete world away. Once you enter in to the spa you are pampered and cocooned in an environment that causes stress to melt away. Those who can afford a full day (both time and money) should take full advantage of the spas many facilities. Booking a 1-hour treatment gives you unlimited access to all the faculties. Although not the least expensive of the spas, they offer a frequent user program that gives certificates for dollars spent. While this does not completely off set the expense it does not hurt!
