The Best Fabric Store in ATL - Hands Down 7/28/2010

Oddly positioned on Cheshire Bridge, Gail K fabrics gives the growing Atlanta fashion industry a glimpse of sartorial hope. The store is cluttered and difficult to navigate - but in an inspirational way. Whether you are a novice seamstress or a seasoned veteran, Gail K's vast and impressive selection has the perfect fabric for you. From cashmere to ray-on, the prices are reasonable and the ladies who run the store are helpful beyond belief. more

Excellent Store 7/28/2009

I just fell in love with this store. It reminded me of my favorite fabric store near Canal Street in NYC. I was just too thrilled to find this store and start shopping. I have been several times and will continue to go. Staff is friendly and so are the customers. Pros: Has lots of beautiful and colorful fabrics. Cons: Only one location. more

very good customer service 1/28/2009

The staff is very helpful and will make sure you're all set. The place is packed with so much fabric but they have everything. Definitely a place to go if looking for something special or rare. I thought prices were average, but some of those fabric are very nice so its expected to be higher price. I'll go back definitely. more

This is no Mood Fabrics like the NYC store 6/5/2008

Store is dirty. Smells like food b/c lunch is eaten by front counter. Rudest sales help I've come across. They treat customers like it's a favor to let them buy something. Also, watch the prices on items. Somehow, the cashier overcharged me on each visit. I will avoid it from now on. more

Wonderful place to meander through! 10/5/2007

I've been to Gail K's several times. I find that the staff is VERY helpful, the fabrics are unbelievable and you can wander and look as much as you want or, if you need something, they will do their utmost to try to satisfy that need. \r \r The last time I went to shop, I was looking for a specific embroidery piece to match one I already had. The staff person who was helping tool about 30-45 minutes looking for it and finally found it. I was really impressed by their dedication to customers. \r \r This is a great place to be! more
