I went to this tire shop for a simple service of putting a tire on my brand new freshly painted rim. After the service was completed there was a deep scratch on my brand new rim which I pointed out to the worker, his answer was ""we didnt do it"". Did I mention it was brand new and freshly painted? After I paid I asked to speak to the owner/manager. The owner himself came out and said they were not responsible for a rim getting scratched and that he couldnt help me with my issue. After I assured him the rim was not brought into the shop in this condition he said and I quote ""I knew you were a con artist when I saw you walk in."" I said I paid for the service I just wanted to point out what your workers did. I then left the shop extremely offended and unhappy! If you care at all about your rims DO NOT TAKE THEM TO THIS SHOP! more

I have been going to Gabriel's for years, this place is an institution on to itself in South Amboy. Family owned for years this place truly knows the meaning to customer service and above all professionalism. They even pick me up at my house when my car is ready!! Who else does that? I went here instead of pep boys to get tires switched to winter and an alignment. They ended up charging me double for putting on snow tires since they were 19"" which makes since its no extra work as tires are mounted and they already charge more then Pep Boys and Strauss Discount auto. After the work was done and was ripped off the low tire pressure light was still on. They said it would reset automatically and if not to come in. So after a week the light was still on I came back and the owner was angry I was back, threatened to charge me, a $100 then went on diatribe about how he hates people who buys wheels off the internet. He continued yelling and kicked me out. I kid you not, this guy is old school, over priced, very rude and does not care about the customer at all.
