I had some continuing problems with an old car and I needed to find a new place to look into them. Gabriels did a good job of fixing these problems at a very reasonable price but after I drove away the "check engine" light went on. I decided to take the car to my regular place since I needed an oil change anyway and they said the thermostat was the wrong temperature for the car (I had it changed at Gabriels and I had noticed the engine was running very cool). Okay, so anyone can make a mistake. That didn't make the check engine light go away though so I decided to go back to Gabriels for that which also happened to be the day my battery died. They replaced the battery and found after keeping the car for almost a couple of weeks that the oxygen sensor was bad. I was not charged for the battery which I thought was strange. Over the next few days I noticed that the car was hard to start in the morning and it finally didn't start at all on a Sunday. AAA came out and said right away it was the wrong size battery so then I had to get that taken care of on a Sunday at Sears. Overall, the repairs I had done at Gabriels were done at a good price but I've spent quite a bit of time getting their mistakes fixed. I can understand getting a part wrong once, but not twice, particularly at a AAA-approved facility. I won't be going back.
