I lived at Point Loma Towers for over five years and really enjoyed the place. I was lucky to get a top/third level unit which had a main wall full of windows offering a fantastic, unobstructed view of Mission Bay, Fiesta Island and Mission Valley with Mt Soledad and mountains in the distance). SeaWorld fireworks were fully visible from my windows which was a bonus. Located minutes away from beaches, freeways, downtown and the airport. Very well maintained. Responsive, fair management. Well-patrolled. Gated after 10pm. Very decent amenities (pool, jacuzzi, sauna, recreation room, fitness area, picnic area with BBQ grills and a downtown skyline view). The complex is positioned around a cul-de-sac in a nice residential area. The western and northern parts of the building are atop bluffs allowing for an ocean views to the west and bay views to the north.
No major drawbacks in my view other than community laundry rooms, no balconies in the units and limited guest parking but that's the way it is in SoCal. Overall, I loved it there.
Definitely worth a look! Tell Betty and Joe that Alaina says "hi"!
Pros: Two thumbs-up!
Cons: Limited guest parking. Where don't you have that?
