GF Sprague

We chose G.F. Sprague to replace our shingled roof after talking with 3 other roofing companies. The reasons G.F. Sprague was; (a) 40yr workmanship warranty; the other contractors provided 15-20yrs, (b) Product warranty - Sprague's product warranties were much longer then their competitors; (c) Video Reviews- Sprague has 20+ video reviews on their website, and many more on YouTube. Their competition had about 5 written reviews total (and some were quite negative). The project went well. There was a delay in the material arriving from the manufacturer. However, the guys worked fast and were able to complete the job on time. Looking back, I wished I went with instincts after first watching all the review videos, and warranties. It would have saved me a ton of time and consternation. If you need a roof save yourself a lot of time and worry, and just choose G.F. Sprague. more

We had been putting off a lot roofing, gutter, and chimney work for a few years; dreading the cost and wondering who would we use to get the work completed. A business associate of mine recommended GF Sprague. I am glad he did. The sales guy did a god job of really taking a good thorough look at our roof (yes, he did bring a ladder). We needed a lot, the gutters, chimney and roof were in rough shape. I was glad to hear that they have 12 months no interest financing and right now they have 50% off the roofing materials. We saved thousands and have spread the cost out over 12 months. The guys were excellent, the work looks fantastic, and overall we are very pleased. We highly recommend GF Sprague. more

GF Sprague did a great job for us recently. My big concern was taking off all of the old slate and having it fall off the roof and hit somebody, or my flower beds. GF Sprague made sure that neither happened. They were fast and efficient, and I really liked getting their 50% sale they have (? had) going on. Our new slate roof and gutters look great. more

Just wanted to let everyone know that I am very pleased with the new shingled roof GF Sprague installed on my home. They were very detailed, professional and I didn't hear a single swear word! I had some remodelers work on my home last year, and the language they used would make your stomach turn. It is very refreshing to have a professional roofing contractor like GF Sprague. My headline says it all. I love my new slate roof. My husband and I put off replacing our slate roof for years, knowing that the cost would be exorbitant. Little did we know that GF Sprague had 0% financing for 12 months. I was also impressed with their flexibility. we had company coming in from out of town and did not want them to see all that construction "stuff" upon their arrival. Sprague was very accommodating for us. I love our new slate roof. I find myself on occasion getting out of the car and looking up and admiring the new roof. I recommend GF Sprague, they do good work. more

These guys are good; period. I had a leak around my chimney and I have a slate roof. Looking at the inside of the attic, I could see this leak had been an issue for many years. My neighbor recommended GF Sprague so I called them and a guy named Bob Scribner came out to my house. After doing a complete home inspection, I actually thought it took too long, Bob told me that he would have a price for me within 2 days. I got the quote, and told GF Sprague to get working. They fixed the roof and the chimney. This was last summer, and since then I have not seen any water, or staining in the attic next to the chimney at all. I positively recommend Sprague for roofing and chimney work. more

Good: I really liked GF Sprague's professionalism and attention to detials.. Bad: I didn't like all the paperwork I had to review and sign.. Improvements: Not really sure. When it was all said and done, it all made sense.. Other: I would recommend this roofer to friends and family.. more
