I recently purchased a house with a pool. I have never lived in a house with a pool so I was a little overwhelmed at what I may have to do regarding servicing the pool. I did know that I needed a new pool cover. I called Geremia pools and they quoted me a very reasonable rate on the pool cover and it was at my house within a matter of days. \r I inquired about what it takes to maintain a pool. A Geremia pools representative reassured me that I can definately "do-it-myself". They recommended some chemicals that I would need, and told me that I they would be happy to explain the process when I got the chemicals.\r Finally, after settling in to my new house I came across some old documents from the previous homeowners. Come to find out, the pool was dug by Geremia pools, and maintained by them throughout the years. I recently hired Geremia Pools to build a patio for us. Their work was perfect. Their workmen were knowledgeable, experienced, courteous and very professional. Geremia Pools is a household name for pools in Sacramento. I'm glad that we were able to do business with them. more

Geremia Pools recently installed a patio for us. Their workment were friendly, efficient and very skilled. Their work was beautifully done. Geremia Pools is probably the "Dean" of pool builders in the Sacramento Valley. They are an excellent company. more

Owner of a gorgeous new pool 10/20/2010

After finally deciding to put a pool in the backyard, we researched numerous pool companies and got several bids. We went with Geremia because they had top-of-the line equipment (we went with a UV filtration system that other pool contractors had never even heard of) and I knew they would do an outstanding job. And they did. Yes, of course it was more expensive than the other pool companies. I would be concerned if they weren't. As the pool was being built, they worked with us every step of the way to minimize the damage to the yard and to ensure that work progressed productively. I have no complaints, and my pool is awesome! more

Geremia installed my pool and did an outstanding job! Before deciding on Geremia I received 3 estimates, they were the highest but like anything else in life...you get what you pay for! My experience during the construction was outstanding. Anytime I had a question or concern I called my Designer and everything was promptly addressed. Once my pool was completed the service department was readily available to instruct me and iron out all the little idiosyncrasies. I have and will continue to recommend them to anyone who is considering building a pool.....I rank them 5 out of 5 stars!!! more

POOR SERVICE DOESN'T STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK! 8/3/2010

Geremia is extremely disappointing. Have a Geremia pool. Have been told by 2 other pool companies that Geremia installed our equipment incorrectly. In fact, our house warranty covering the pool got canceled because of the incorrect installation. Next we had a leak in pool. After months of paying hundreds of dollars and having a workman come, I called the company to inquire about the lack of progress and inefficient process. Patty, a worker there, became very rude and hung up on me 2 times and said they refused to service our pool (however, they were glad to take our money and use a picture of our pool on their website). Geremia might put a pool in...but don't look for them to stand behind their installation. I am also appalled that they would allow employees to be so rude to customers. I would NEVER RECOMMEND THEM. more

Poor Customer Service 7/15/2010

First off I am well aware that it is summer time and Pool Maintenance companies are busy. With that said, there is no reason that it should take 5 calls with messages left, with no return calls to schedule an appointment. Finally when someone in the office was reached the customer service level ranks well below what would be expected. When the field person arrived at the house he was great, no complaints about him, but as a whole I rank this company below what my expected service level would be. I am not happy with Geremia Pools and will defiantly be recommending a new company for pool service. I do not expect go give Geremia Pools anymore of my business. Pros: Nice Service Tech Cons: Poor customer service more

Just Full of Themselves 7/15/2010

These guys are really full of themselves. I thought they were the oldest and could build a high end pool. When I first made a call to their offices to schedule an appointment they told me for someone to come out they required a DEPOSIT!\r \r Who are they kidding??? Every other swimming pool contractor I called never asked for a deposit. I might even consider paying up front for a design if I had hired a professional architect. But come on, this is stupid. Geremia Pools, you aren't that special! I have seen way too many pools that my friends and associates have in their backyard. Always puffing out their chest as if some badge of honor. The one thing I have always noticed is the white plastic lids on the deck. \r \r I'm glad I didn't hire these guys, I would surely have needed some lubricant from being raped by their "I'm the best, snobbery pricing" more

Outstanding Pool & Spa!!! 12/4/2008

We talked to three pool builders (Geremia, Aquatech and Premier).We selected Geremia (not on price, they were the most expensive). The pool & spa turned out better than expected! The pool helped us sell our house. Literally every potential buyer raved about the georgus back yard, pool and spa. Remember, you always get what you pay for. You want cheap, you just bought problems!!! Go with Geremia!!! more

Updated Previous Review: Ended up happy 9/26/2008

We used Geremia to design/build our pool this past summer. We used them because of good experiences in the past, and because of their reputation. We had some challenges along the way, but we were able to work things out with Geremia and come to a happy conclusion.\r \r Patty at Geremia is great. The key seems to be to find one person who can be responsible for all aspects of your job, and Patty did this for us. She took responsibility, sent out the folks who needed to come by, and she made sure that things were resolved and done right at the end of the job. \r \r So we were bit frustrated along the way, but Patty stepped up and made this job go well. And our pool looks really great. Geremia has some talented folks working for them, and they do the work themselves... so you don't have to hassle with subcontractors or finger pointing! Just call your responsible person (see above) and have them sort it out for you!\r \r Thanks, Patty, for making things better so I could update my review! more

A Little Pricey 6/27/2006

We spent a fortune with this company but the pool they built for us was AMAZING. When we lived in our other house roughly 10 years ago we contracted out this company to build us a nice sized pool after several summers of Sacramento's hot weather. You MUST have a pool to deal with Sacramento's weather! When we sold our house we received several complements about how much people loved the pool design! We did pay a pretty penny--probably more than most places but again, we loved the job they did! more

This is one of the top pool companies in California. Their prices are more expensive but this company has been in business for over 80 years! We had a pool build by them and it looks great! People comment on how nice the pool is. Depending who your pool designer is, their call back might take some time.
