I do not recommend going to G & L. I went in a little more than 12 weeks ago to have a small section of my door panels re-upholstered; I just went in today and took them home with nothing done. They hadn't even received the correct fabric yet after nearly 3 months! During this time Larry (one of the owners I think) NEVER called to tell me that they had a problem getting the fabric, I had to go in to find out what was taking so long. His original time estimate was 1 to 2 weeks, so after 3 weeks of not hearing from them I went in. He said that he expected the fabric in by the end of the week or the beginning of the next. It went on like this for the next three times that I went in to find out what was going on. Every time he told me that he expected the fabric to be in soon. Finally after about 9 weeks he told me that he couldn't get the original fabric and that we should pick out something different and that he could get the new fabric in about two days. So last Wednesday (that was about 10 days ago) I chose a new fabric. When I went in today to see how things were going (he said he would get right on them when the fabric came in) it was back to the same old story, the fabric isn't here yet but he expects it in soon. \r

So I took my door panels home with nothing done to them.\r
\r
To top it all off my door panels have been sitting on the ground next to the front door for the last 3 months getting knocked over every time a delivery is made.\r
\r
I don't mind that it took longer than the estimated time, but the fact that he NEVER called to tell me that there was a problem and that he kept giving me the run around about when it would be in really annoyed in the end.\r
\r
I've heard that they do good work (that?s why I went there), but I would never recommend that anyone I know goes to them.\r
Cons: Customer service and they didn't even START the job after 12 weeks
