I am not sure what kind of business model FYE follows, but it certainly does not have anything to do with competitive pricing. For the most part they are usually about 5 to 10% higher than other places in town and more when compared to the internet. However, in their used section you can sometimes find a good deal. Also, they will often have great prices on items when you complete a mail-in-rebate. That is a lot of trouble for a DVD or CD, but if you go through the trouble you can get a deal. It is just a matter if it is worth it to you. The staff I have dealt with have all been pleasant, but very hands off. They will greet you when you come in, but you have to sometimes track someone down to ask a question. Their selection of movies and DVD's is decent at best, but are not as good as your other options in town. The main thing they have going for them is their location with in the mall. I would say skip it, unless you have looked other place and can't find what you are looking for.
One last note is that FYE has a website where you can find most of the deals online. This helps because you can know what you are looking for before you go to the store or skip the store all together.
