I met Dr. John Futral when I was 8 months pregnant and my vehicle broke down. He and his staff took the time to make sure I was comfortable in his office and made sure I was able to reach my husband. Due to his concern, my ongoing back problems and lack of adequate chiropractic care I immediately called his office for an appointment after I gave birth. more

Like many others, I moved to the area from California where I was blessed with excellent chiropractic care. My doctor there gave me several questions to ask with respect to what I should be searching for in chiropractic care up here. John Futral answered these questions over the phone without hesitation or annoyance, so I scheduled an appointment right away. This all went down in 2004 and I have and still am receiving excellent care at Futral Chiropractic. As a matter of fact I am on my way there this morning! Please pay absolutely no attention to the knuclehead who wrote the absurd review blasting this office. You can believe me when I say that Dr Futral and his office staff are the best. Any paperwork they ask for is required by law or insurance for new patients; all of us. Do yourself a favor and give Dr Futral a chance to become your chiropractic provider! more

John has been treating me for close to six years. He has never pushed me to come in for regular adjustments (unlike past chiropractors who wanted to see me three times a week!). He is honest and his office staff are great. My back feels the best it has in 27 years of contractor work. I would highly recommend him to anyone and often do! more

I moved to this area 9 years ago...leaving a great chiropractor behind...and in search of another great chiropractor! I have reoccurring back spasms that are extremely painful and very debilitating! Literally having to crawl for standing is too painful! Anyway, I searched and searched one office to the next, until I came upon Dr. John Futral! He was my saving grace! Some of the offices I went to required me to sign a long term contract for ongoing visits no matter how I was feeling! Even offering me to sign up for a credit card to pay for their long term contract! I had experienced that prior to moving here and didn?t want any part of that scheme! Other offices also attempted to have me sign long term contracts! To me that was just CRAZY! What I needed was like I had prior to moving here, a chiropractor that helps your particular ailment, and didn?t require all those contractual obligations! Thank God my spasms are short lived?thanks to Dr. Futral! If you are looking for an honest, trustworthy, AWESOME, Chiropractor?look no further?Dr. Futral will take care of you! If you experience back spasms as I do, you have realized the horrific pain, and need Dr. Futral! This office is a total BLESSING! more

First let me say that I have been going to John Futral for over 5 years. What's funny is the fact that I spent most my life no really thinking that Chiropractic could help me. I had a sports injury and was in extraordinary pain a freind at work told me about Dr. John. I was skeptical but AI went anyway. It was the best decisions of my life. I was impressed by the professionalism and the attention that I and other patients receive. I credit Futral Chiropractic Center with a better quality of life. I just read a review from someone talking about required releases. First just by reading this review I know that this individual had no real contact with Dr John. The person states that Dr John asked this person sweetthing 77 to sign a authorization so the Doctor could do required treatment. Every doctors office I've gone to required this. Plus I have personally read all the paperwork and watched numerous interactions between the staff and patients, and I can only come to one conclusion this sweething77 must have been having a bad day because what he or she says just doesn't reflect in any way shape or form what I know to be true. more

I DO NOT recommend Futral Chiropractic! I recently moved to the area and was looking for a Chiropractor as I like to get adjustment every 4 months or so. BEWARE of the patient paperwork that the office requires. One of the authorizations that they wanted me to sign was a statement saying that I agreed to have the doctor perform any and all treatments that he wanted to do. This not only strikes me as being odd but makes me wonder why a doctor would have a patient sign it even before he examines the patient. Maybe it?s a big money maker for him. Oncologists and specialists don?t even require this type of authorization or commitment before discussing treatment with the patient. Reputable doctors usually discuss treatment with their patients and don?t require that the patient take treatment they don?t feel is beneficial for them and they provide options. I questioned signing the authorization. Both the doctor and the receptionist argued with me that if I didn?t sign it I wouldn?t get treated. That was fine with me. I know a scam when I see one. I had them shred my information and walked right out. A wise attorney once told me how foolish some people are to sign and authorize paperwork without reading and understanding it. Futral Chiropractic also had a lot of paperwork for collecting insurance proceeds from automobile accident injury cases so this was another big red flag. This was the oddest doctor?s office I have ever been in. The doctor and receptionist were sitting in the office looking out the window doing nothing when I walked in the office. I guess they don?t get much business. Now I know why. Another red flag is all the comments they have on the web. No-one else even has 1/10th of the comments they have. Makes one wonder if they just wrote them themselves as they seemed really bored and probably need business. The reception area was dilapidated with old dirty chairs, carpet and magazines. I glad I didn?t risk treatment with this doctor. There are plenty of reputable chiropractors in Prescott Valley and Prescott. Don?t waste your time with this one. more

Dr. Futral has helped my neck and back pain situation from the very 1st visit! Growing up getting banged-up allot in sports, I'm very familiar with chiropractors. The whole staff is terrific and as friendly as you'll will find. No financial pressure offered by Dr. Futral and no pressure for 'endless' appointments. more
