Extremely Disappointed 11/7/2011

I had an appointment for 4 weeks to get color and cut for a VERY important function. When I showed up to the salon on MY ONLY DAY OFF, the salon was closed, doors locked, and no one would answer the phone. There was no sign in the window and no one called me to tell me they would not be there. I will NEVER GO TO THIS SALON again! Very poor customer service!!!! If I could leave the star rating blank, I would! This salon does not even deserve a half of a star! more

I am from Des Moines Iowa and I am a stylist at an Aveda salon here in Des Moines. I was in Gulf Shores for my wedding on October 15th and had an updo practice and wedding day hair appt. with Liz. Obviously Im very picky because ive been with Aveda for seven years and know their standards. Liz was absolutely phenominal!!! not only did my hair look the best it ever has but she was so calming and sweet on such a stressful day. I cant thank her enough or throw her enough praises. I highly highly reccomend her to anyone who ever visits or lives in Gulf shores. Also my style stayed all day and night which never happens! Thank you again! Lindsey Kiplinger-Crank more
