DO NOT MOVE IN 12/28/2009

Let me give you a run down. We lived there for a few months too 1. Someone was killed across the street 2. Cockroaches 3. Loud garbage shoot 4. Cigarette/marijuana smoke comes up through the vents 5. Some of our stuff was stolen 6. The apartment smelled and the super said it was us 7. Low income folks live there many of whom have drug/drinking problems 8. What else? I am sure there is moree more

This is NOT a kid friendly building 7/14/2009

Don't be fooled by the sales associate telling you it's a kid friendly building, the social room with toys, the patio and the pool. They have way too many rules and they even "shush" the kids who are laughing. There is a female concierge who is very rude to moms and management harass you constantly. DO NOT move with kids more

toxic smoke exposure, obnoxious management 12/30/2007

Check www.archstonesmoke.wordpress.com for details. My family (including an infant) has been exposed to toxic secondhand smoke (marijuana and tobacco), regardless of the no-drug & non-smoking policy, with full knowledge of the management who condoned the situation. When we started to raise the problem they suggested we move out. Unresponsive, incompetent (they have no clue about Mass. law and hired a dummy-playing attorney), obnoxious management. Good place for dope smokers & tobacco addicts. NOT a good place for children, non-smokers, elderly etc. more

Poor service and expensive 8/20/2005

This apartment is conveniently located right across from the Alewife T station. The apartment is very luxurious but the monthly rental fee is just too expensive. They also do not have a parking space for your guest and the fire alarms constantly goes off from time to time. Each unit has come with connection which stated as a high speed Internet connection in their ads but in reality it is very slow. This apartment is not recommended. more

Pricey, however it is a good environment. One more thing, don't forget to lock your apartment, otherwise something will be stolen even you only away for 10 seconds more
