This is our second purchase from Furnitureland South. While we are so lucky to live fairly close (1 hour drive), I think we would still come here to furnish a new house should we ever move away from North Carolina. The staff is incredibly helpful! If they are not an expert on a certain brand they will get all of the information you need to make an informed purchase. The store has access to such a wide variety of furniture. They have items for nearly any price range, which especially comes into play if you factor in the Outlet. We love coming over to Furnitureland South, and we have really enjoyed making family trips out of our shopping excursions there. more

This was our third or fourth visit to Furnitureland South. It truly is a one stop shopping experience for outfitting a home. With the expert help of Christina Garrison, we were able to find the all the right pieces to furnish an entire new home in a little over 4 hours. And that included lunch. more

This is my third purchase from Furnitureland South and my most challenging. The original bedroom set I wanted was discontinued so I had to start all over. Richard O'Hair was most patient as I requested picture after picture of items they had at the store so I could be sure that the armoire matched the new suite I was wanting. Being thousands of miles away, it was the only way I could check out the style and color. I also have a major challenge with my drive way. It is very long and straight down. On previous occasions, the delivery guys only blinked once and proceeded to hand carry every single piece down this daunting driveway. The big truck had to remain above as the driveway is narrow and there is no turn around possible below. Also Richard took care of replacing one of my dining room chairs when a part was discovered damaged. It was replaced, no questions asked. Last, did I tell you that you can really save money on buying something in NC when you live in AZ even with the shipping. Amazing. They are the real deal. Check them out! more

We worked with Tim O'Brien and he was superb!! He helped us get everything we wanted for our house. He offered free storage and delivery, and they delivered on all counts. Had a couple of items with minor damage, which they replaced with no issue, even left the damaged table for us to use till the new one arrived.Delivery was always as scheduled. We own several rental properties, so when they need to be updated, we will be back to Tim. more

I was very pleased with my last furniture purchase/delivery from Furnitureland South. We purchased a 7 piece bedroom set for a GREAT price. They allowed us to store our furniture until our bedroom was ready for the furniture to be delivered (we were in the process of repainting and recarpeting the room). I rescheduled delivery at least three times and it was never a problem. The customer service people were very friendly and accommodating. When we were finally ready to have the furniture delivered, it came right on time (within the 4 hour time frame) and the delivery men were great. This is not my first purchase from FLS and it won't be my last. more

My wife and I were looking for furniture for our new house. We live in Raleigh and went to all of the furniture stores that we have and worked with a lot of different sales people. We decided to drive to Furnitureland South to see what they were like, and were pleasantly surprised.\r \r Furnitureland South had an incredible amount of furniture with great prices all in one location. It was absolutely worth the trip and I would recommend everyone to make the drive there. With that being said, by far, the number one reason that we bought our furniture there was because of our sales person, Jim Albright. Jim was hands down the best sales person that we had dealt with during our shopping experience. I have been looking for the perfect sofa to replace worn living room furniture. I found it online at Furnitureland South's website. It is a Natuzzi Italia Wave. My husband and I made an appointment with design consultant, Timothy O'Brien, by email. When we arrived, Tim met us, showed us to the Natuzzi gallery where we found this sofa and others, also lovely. He was very knowledgable, professional, and patient while guiding us through the selection and ordering process. This sofa was delivered at the time promised, wrapped in protective plastic, and placed as we directed by two very competent and pleasant men. We are totally pleased with the process, the price and the results. The sofa is perfect as shown here in my living room. more

All staff are extremely knowledgeable to personal shoppers or designers.\r My experiences working with Patti Allen have been nothing but professional, accommodating, and understanding. I have been speaking with Tracy at Furnitureland South for months, trying to finalize an order of two girls bedroom sets and she has been so helpful in the process and has had great patience . Tracy has great suggestions and in the mean time I am adding more pieces to my order.\r We are awaiting our order, but in the meantime our experience so far has been great!! more

I recently ordered a chair by phone. Jeff was so helpful. He took several photos for me, even the back of the chair, and emailed them to me. He even checked the finish. I loved the service, and the price was a third of the suggested price. I'm sure I'll use Furnitureland South in Jamestown, N. C. again! more

We have worked with Chris Fox from Furnitureland South to furnish three homes...each time we sold our home, the buyers wanted the furniture with it. Chris is a master designer and makes the furniture buying experience a delight, even for my husband!!! The new design center is high tech and beautiful. You won't be disappointed, but allow at least 2 days for any significant shopping!!! more

I was so very pleased with our visit to Furniture South! Our consultant Olga was outstanding. She had a great feel for what I was looking for AND really listened when I told her what price point I was looking for. She even shipped a satchel back to my Mom when it was accidentally left at the showroom!!!! Wow! Talk about going the extra mile. Now that is customer service. more

My wife and I purchased bedroom furniture and a rug. No problems with the rug, but we have had problems with a couple of the bedroom pieces. Continuous run around from customer service and our sales associate is apprently to longer there.\r \r I've heard from friends and associates having some insight into the situation that FLS has been forced to reduce staff levels significantly due to a large drop in volume. I would stay away from this retailer. more
