I have enjoyed taking my dogs to fur r we for several years. The haircut for my Yorkshire and poodle usually runs about $45 each and its done in a timely manner and the dogs look great. Good location near shopping malls and friendly owner. more

This place is ridiculous. They wanted to shave my lab. Yes, my black lab. The groomer came out when I went to pick him up and called him stupid because he wouldn't get up on the table on command and wouldn't get in the kennel. Keep in mind my dog has never been to a groomer before and has never been commanded to be put in a kennel so OF COURSE he would not know the commands. That does not give you the right to call my dog stupid. This was a terrible experience and he now has eye irritation and discharge because they were careless about getting shampoo in his eyes. This place is hatrocious and I will never take my dog to a groomer unless they actually give a damn about the animals they are grooming. more

Fur ""R"" We 8/18/2011

We took our Golden Retreiver to this Groomer and got back a disaster dog. When my husband took the dog in he asked for the dog to me cut behind the ears and nails that were never done instead they shaved his entire pants off (back hair) and belly. Anyone who knows about grooming this dog know you never do this. I called the owner Denice and she refused to give me a refund and was very rude and unprofessional. She tried to tell me that my husband told them an x-tra trim. She would not believe me so I had my husband call and told her exactly what he ordered then she backed down and said she does not give refunds but gives an appointment free next time but laughed and said""But I quess you would never come back"" can you believe this place. NO APOLOGY OR CARE ABOUT OUR DOG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Can you believe I again asked for my refund and told her I was coming to the shop to get it and she laughed again and told me good luck!!!!!!!!!! more

Good Groomers 12/13/2010

To the person above...I seriously doubt that your dog would have developed an ear infection (with discharge, mind you), in just a few hours...I suspect the dog already had it developing before he went to the groomer. That said, I have had no problems with this groomer, they are 10 steps above Petco or anyone else I tried. I am going back there again next week... more

Wonderful Grooming Experience every time! 4/21/2010

I've taken my two Bichon Frises to Fur 'R' We for a long time. They are professional, wonderful people who do the best grooming in SLC. I've referred many friends and they all have the same, positive experience. I trust my groomer (Kris) more than I trust my vet. She notices even the smallest change in my dogs and alerts me to any possible problems. My dogs look like ""show dogs"" when they're done. You couldn't ask for better people to entrust your pets with. Pros: Kind, caring, professional grooming more

Worst Grooming Experience 11/30/2008

A long nightmare told short: \r We took our dog to ""Fur R We"" for the normal grooming. When we brought him home, hours later, to our dismay, both ears were bleeding from the tips. We looked into his ears and saw yellow discharge from a staff infection so we took him to the vet. \r What makes Fur R We the worst groomer: \r a) After the grooming the groomers showed me the inside of my dogs ears and said he would shake his head often due to the plucking they did. I appreciated this. However, when I asked the groomer of chance of infection, they told me ""NO"".\r b) When calling the groomer and stating what had occurred, the manager was defensive and claimed no responsibility. They do not seem to value customers or customers animals. \r I will never take any of my pets back to this place again. more
