I went to Funtown for many years, but now I believe this is an amusement part made for children. It is definately not geared toward the older adult. During the summer it is very crowded with middle and high school students. I find it annoying that they charge you for just walking around the park. I believe if you are not going on any rides you should not have to pay for a "walk around braclet" more

Expensive -but- Still Fun 8/19/2005

This place is still fun after all these years. They are kind of in a standstill for innovation, but that also adds to the fun, it being that same old park as when you were a little kid. If you are spending a day at the park, bring your wallet. Ticket prices rival that of the bigger parks like Six Flags, for 1/4 of the rides, and if you want to go to the "Splashtown" side too... more cash is needed. Look around for discount coupons, many workplaces have them as well as store/banks and other businesses. more

No Six Flags 8/17/2005

Funtown is a good family park, over run in the summers by young high schoolers (to be expected). They have a decent amount of rides for all ages. The wooden roller coaster is fun, as are the bumper cars (as always). Some of the employees are a bit rude. One situation in particular I witnessed a young man (sixteenish) yelling at some of the kids in line. Not so professional. All in all the park is fun and has a good variety of rides in their amusement park and in their water park. more
